Demoralize are a symphonic metal band formed in Athens, Greece in 2016 by Aris Nikoleris and Gus Ringas. The original idea was to blend power and heavy metal with pronounced symphonic elements, drawing inspiration from bands including Rhapsody, Kamelot, Nightwish and Dimmu Borgir.
As the lineup and writing evolved, more influences entered the mix. Progressive structures, modern production and cinematic dynamics became a larger part of the band’s identity without losing the melodic core.
The debut EP The Dragon's Call arrived in 2022, followed by the 2023 single The Beginning. Both releases lean into fantasy storytelling, with material inspired by worlds such as The Sword of Truth and The Elder Scrolls.
